Management Team
Sy Van Dyk
Sy is the President of Perenti Drilling Services and brings a wealth of mining services experience and an ability to build on the culture of operational excellence, good governance and customer-focused approach. Previously Sy was the CEO & Managing Director of DDH1 Limited, and has also held the CEO & Managing Director of ASX listed Macmahon Holdings. In addition, he has held senior operational roles at the WesTrac Group and held senior positions within Kimberly-Clark (S.A) and is also a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed Austin Engineering, appointed in March 2018.
Russell Chard
Russell is responsible for all of DDH1’s East Coast operations and is based out of Queensland. Russell joined DDH1 as East Coast Manager in 2009 with a total of 25 years' drilling industry experience including senior management roles with an international drilling company. He is very knowledgeable of the east coast market and is an expert directional driller.
Peter Crennan
Peter is responsible for all of DDH1’s West Coast operations and is based out of Perth. Peter commenced with DDH1 in 2011 and has pursued a career in the growth of the company. Peter has a technical skillset which include directional drilling, complex mine service holes and executing remote exploration drilling programs. Peter has a passion for watching growth of employees coming to the company and being guided to the same career pathway he was shown by DDH1 founders.
